Operating lease — monthly rental, no upfront purchase

Lease a photo booth

Run a photo booth without buying one outright. A fixed monthly cost, support included, the option to swap models, and the unit returns to us when you're done.

Lease any form factor

Whether you need a booth for the road, a permanent fixture for a venue, or a low-footprint installation against a wall — we lease all three. Especially useful for permanent installs: prove the concept on a lease before committing to buying outright.

Portable photo booth — David Lloyd Clubs branded ring booth
Portable

Portable

The classic event-hire shape. Wheels in, sets up on site, packs down at the end of the night. Lease one for a season, see if the work justifies owning it.

Best for New event-hire businesses testing the market, agencies running a seasonal campaign, operators waiting on capital for a planned purchase.
Floor-mounted photo booth — BT-branded freestanding totem in a corporate setting
Floor-mounted

Floor-mounted

A permanent freestanding installation, leased rather than bought. Run it through a high season, measure the guest engagement, then decide whether to convert to a purchase.

Best for Hotels and venues piloting an in-house offering, family entertainment centres trialling new attractions, hospitality groups testing a single site before rolling out.
Wall-mounted photo booth — sports bar install with custom Live Sports branding
Wall-mounted

Wall-mounted

Low-footprint installation against a wall, leased on a fixed monthly. Ideal for tight floorplans where the case for permanent kit has to prove itself first.

Best for Restaurants, bars, retail spaces, lobbies, coworking spaces — anywhere a wall-mounted unit could earn its keep but the case for buying isn't yet made.

Why leasing makes sense

Buying a booth is a real capital commitment — and a depreciating asset. Leasing keeps cash in the business, support on the table, and the door open for you to step out at the end of the term.

  • No large upfront cost

A predictable monthly amount instead of a five-figure capital outlay — easier on cashflow, easier to budget against jobs you've already won.

  • Support & maintenance included

If something needs fixing during the term, we sort it. Spares, software updates and phone support all bundled in.

  • Test the market first

Want to know if running a booth is a viable line for your business? Lease for a season, see the numbers, then decide whether to buy.

  • Match the booth to the job

Booked a corporate run? A wedding season? We can talk through which booth style fits the work you've actually got coming up.

  • Clean exit at end of term

Booth returns to us, no depreciation hangover, no second-hand-resale headache. You move on cleanly.

  • Same training & aftercare

Lease customers get the same onboarding as buyers — setup walkthrough, software training, ongoing UK-based support.

Who leases instead of buys

Leasing isn't a worse-version-of-buying. It's a different shape that fits a specific kind of business better.

  • New event-hire businesses testing the model
  • Agencies running a seasonal campaign
  • Brands needing kit for a single activation series
  • Venues piloting an in-house booth offering
  • Hospitality groups trialling a permanent install
  • Restaurants & bars proving the case before buying
  • Operators waiting on capital for a planned purchase
  • Businesses with strong cashflow, weak appetite for assets

How leasing works

Same shape as buying, different financial structure. Three steps and the booth's on its way to you.

  • Tell us what you need

What you'll be using it for, how often, where, and over what kind of time horizon. Helps us recommend the right booth and the right term length.

  • Monthly quote & contract

Clear monthly figure, clear term, clear what's included. We'll walk you through it before anyone signs anything.

  • Delivered & supported

Booth arrives, training runs, you start taking jobs. UK phone support throughout the lease — and a return at the end.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are lease terms?

We'll quote the term that fits your use case — anything from a single-season lease for an agency campaign to a longer commitment for an event business getting going. We'd rather match the term to the work than push a fixed length.

What happens if the booth needs fixing during the lease?

We handle it. Maintenance is included in the monthly fee — if something breaks during normal use, we'll repair or swap the unit so you're not down for a job.

Can I switch to buying later?

Yes. If you decide partway through the lease (or at the end of the term) that you want to own a booth outright, we'll put a purchase quote together — the lease was always a way to keep the option open.

Do I need to insure it?

Yes — leased booths need to be insured during the term against accidental damage, loss, and theft, the same as any business asset you'd hire in. We'll cover what's expected as part of the contract walkthrough.

Can I lease a floor-mounted or wall-mounted install?

Yes — and it's one of the strongest reasons to lease. Permanent installs are a bigger commitment than a portable booth, and leasing lets you prove the concept (guest engagement, footfall, revenue contribution) before deciding whether to buy outright at the end of the term. We do a site visit as part of the lease quote so the install works in your specific space.

What's not included?

Day-to-day consumables (print media, props that wear out, etc.) are typically billed separately so you only pay for what you actually use. We'll be explicit about what's bundled vs. what's pay-as-you-go in the quote.

What happens at end of term?

Three options, your call: return the booth and walk away, sign a new term (same or different model), or convert to a purchase. We'll talk through which makes sense for you a few weeks before the term wraps.
