Frequently Asked Questions

When in the wedding day should the photo booth run?

Most weddings have the booth open from after the sit-down meal (around 8pm) through to the end of the evening reception. Speeches and first dance go ahead photo-booth-quiet so they aren't competing for guest attention. Earlier setups can suit afternoon receptions or all-day formats — let us know your timeline at booking.

Will the photo booth distract from the speeches or first dance?

No — the attendant pauses the booth during speeches, the cake-cut, and the first dance, then reopens it for the dancing/evening portion. Guests learn the rhythm quickly and queue up between the formal moments.

How does the booth work alongside our wedding photographer?

The two cover different things. Your photographer captures the formal portraits, the ceremony, and the candid story of the day. The booth captures the silly group shots across families and friends that the photographer would never get — guests loosen up inside a booth in a way they don't when a camera's pointed at them.

How early should we book the wedding photo booth?

6-12 months ahead for popular Saturday wedding dates (May-September especially). Off-peak midweek and winter weddings are easier to book at 3-4 months. Booking earlier locks the date and lets us co-design the photo overlays around your wedding theme.

Will older relatives use the photo booth?

Yes — surprisingly often. The Magic Mirror and Vintage Photo Booth are both especially grandparent-friendly because the format reads as familiar. The attendant guides every group, so nobody feels intimidated by the touchscreen.
