Two ways to serve it: made fresh on site, where our cinema-style kettle pops batch after batch live at your event for the full sight, sound and smell of fresh popcorn — or served premade, popped in advance and ready to serve from the start of your event. Either way we deliver, set up the station at your venue, and can staff it or leave it self-serve, then pack down at the end.

Is the popcorn made fresh on site or served premade?

Either — your choice, and both are served at your event. Made fresh on site gives you the full cinema experience: the kettle pops live throughout, with the sight, sound and smell of fresh popcorn drawing a crowd. Served premade means it's popped in advance and ready to serve from the start. Let us know which suits your event and we'll set it up that way.

Do you offer sweet popcorn, salt, or both?

Both as standard. Most events run a 50/50 split — sweet (caramelised, golden) and salted (cinema-style, white) — so there's something for everyone, whether they've got a sweet tooth or prefer the classic savoury crunch.

Will the popcorn keep up with my guest numbers?

Yes. Made fresh, the kettle turns out a new batch every few minutes for a steady flow of warm popcorn throughout. Served premade, a good stock is popped in advance and ready from the start. Either way, tell us your guest numbers and we'll make sure there's enough to go round.

Are the popcorn bags branded?

Standard bags are red-and-white striped (cinema-classic). Custom-branded bags are available for weddings (couple's names) or corporate events (company logo) — order 4 weeks ahead of the event for printed bags. Send artwork at booking.

Is this cinema-style or fairground-style popcorn?

A proper cinema-style red & gold kettle popper, not the small home variants. The machine is the centrepiece — guests gather around it, watch fresh batches pop, and help themselves. Adds smell, sound and visual movement to the room.

What does popcorn smell like in the venue?

When popping fresh, strongly like cinema. Some venues love it (creates a fairground/cinema atmosphere); some don't (it can interfere with formal sit-down meals). Best positioned away from the main dining area — near the bar, dance floor, or in a foyer. If you'd rather not have it popping live on the day, the premade option is popped in advance instead.

Is the popcorn machine suitable for kids?

Yes — kids love watching the popping kettle. The machine itself runs hot, so we operate it throughout for safety; guests bag their own popcorn from the warmer tray. Standard recipe is allergen-friendly (nut-free, gluten-free, vegan).
