Book early — December fills first
Festive experiences ride on our most-booked booths in our busiest month. The prime December dates and the weekend before Christmas go months ahead.

Most Christmas party photos live and die on a phone. The festive events guests talk about into January are the ones where they walked out holding something — a bauble for the tree, a certificate from Santa's records office, an elf version of themselves on printed photo paper. Here are three photo booth experiences built exactly for that, plus how to pick between them for your Christmas party, corporate do or festive event.
Christmas events already have food, music and a dress code. What most are missing is the takeaway — the thing guests carry home that keeps the night alive after the decorations come down. That's the thinking behind our festive experience line-up: each one runs on our standard photo booths, each one prints on the spot, and each one leaves guests with something that outlasts the party. (Planning the whole night? Start with our 15 Christmas party ideas guide — this post is the deep-dive on the festive keepsakes.)
The Photo Baubles Experience turns every booth photo into a tree-ready decoration. Guests pose, the photo prints, and our team member fits it inside a clear bauble finished with a ribbon — assembled in front of them and handed over the same evening.
The clever bit is what happens next: at venue parties, guests hang their baubles on the tree as the night goes on, so the tree slowly fills with faces and becomes the talking point of the room. Then every December afterwards, the bauble comes back out of the decorations box. It's the only party favour we know of with an annual comeback.
Best for: office Christmas parties (favours and place settings in one), venue parties with a tree to fill, family gatherings and winter weddings.
The Naughty or Nice Christmas Card Experience prints each guest a personalised certificate from Santa's records office. Guests pick their list on the touchscreen — naughty or nice — type their name, pose, and the card lands seconds later: name at the top, "I've written a list and checked it twice…", their verdict in headline type, a photo window, Santa's signature and a wax seal. The back is a sealed North Pole Mail envelope design, so it's a keepsake from both sides.
Picking your own verdict is the hook. Claiming the naughty list gets a laugh, claiming the nice list gets challenged by the whole table, couples split one of each — and the card spends December propped on a shelf rather than buried in a coat pocket.
Best for: work Christmas dos where the verdict becomes the night's running joke, family events (kids take the choice very seriously), Christmas markets and festive brand activations.

Cream and red-sealed for the nice list. Dark and gold-trimmed for the naughty list. Somehow the naughty one is always more popular.
The Elf Yourself AI Experience is the one that gets the loudest reaction on the night. Guests step up, the camera captures their face, and AI maps it onto a fully animated elf in a Christmas scene — hair, skin tone and expression all come through, so everyone still recognises themselves under the elf hat. Prints land on the spot and digital copies share straight to phones.
It's the most shareable of the three: the transformations get passed around the room, posted before the night is over, and for corporate events every share can carry your branding onto guests' feeds.
Best for: parties that want the big reveal moment, family and kids' events, corporate festive parties and brand activations that want social reach.
You don't have to pick just one. All three run on the same standard booth hardware, so pairing two experiences across a longer hire lets guests come back for a different keepsake each visit — tell us the mix when you book.
A few things worth settling before you book:
Festive experiences ride on our most-booked booths in our busiest month. The prime December dates and the weekend before Christmas go months ahead.
Elf Yourself is the family crowd-pleaser, naughty-or-nice suits a room that knows each other, and photo baubles work everywhere there's a tree.
Two experiences on one booth gives guests a reason to queue twice — a bauble on the first visit, a verdict card on the second.
Each experience runs on a standard booth with a single 13A socket — hotel function rooms, village halls and marquees all cope.
These experiences join a festive line-up that already covers Christmas party photo booth hire across Surrey, London and the South East — and they run on the same booths our couples and corporate clients book all year round. If you're organising the work do, our corporate Christmas party ideas guide covers the bigger picture; for everything else, the Christmas party ideas planner has the full fifteen.

The best Christmas event idea isn't more food or louder music — it's sending every guest home holding the night. A bauble that returns to the tree every December, a certificate that starts an argument about which list they're really on, or an elf transformation they'll never live down. Pick the one that fits your crowd, book the date before December fills, and let the keepsake do the remembering.
The three festive favourites are the Photo Baubles Experience (each guest's photo goes inside a real bauble, assembled on the spot), the Naughty or Nice Christmas Card Experience (a personalised North Pole certificate card — the guest picks their own verdict), and the Elf Yourself AI Experience (AI turns each guest into an animated elf, printed and shared on the night).
No — all three run on our standard photo booths, such as the Selfie Pod, Retro Pod, Vintage or Digital Photo Booth. You pick the booth that suits your venue at quote stage and the festive experience layers on top.
Yes — the experiences run on the same booth hardware, so pairing two across a longer hire works well and gives guests a reason to come back for a different keepsake on each visit. Tell us the mix you want when you book.
Yes — every experience shares digital copies straight to guests' phones from the booth via QR code, email or SMS, and the host receives a branded online gallery of every photo after the event.
As early as possible. December is the busiest hire month of the year and the festive experiences run on our most-booked booths — the weekends before Christmas go first. If your date is set, book now and confirm the experience at the same time.
