Naughty or nice? Every guest gets to answer — officially. The Naughty or Nice Christmas Card Experience is a software experience that runs on standard Surrey FaceBooth hardware — pair it with the Selfie Pod, Retro Pod, Vintage Photo Booth, Digital Photo Booth or any of our other supported pods — and prints each guest a personalised certificate from Santa's records office. Name at the top, "I've written a list and checked it twice…", their chosen verdict in headline type, a circular photo window, Santa's signature and an Official North Pole Mail wax seal. The back carries a sealed envelope design, so the card is a keepsake from both sides.
This is an attended experience — a Surrey FaceBooth team member runs the booth throughout, helps with name entry and hands the cards over as they print. Indoor, or covered outdoor on a solid level surface. Booked across Surrey, London, Kent and UK-wide.
Why we built this experience
"Naughty or nice?" is the question everyone already asks at Christmas — this experience just makes the answer official. Guests pick their own verdict on the touchscreen, which turns every visit into a small performance: claiming the naughty list gets a laugh, claiming the nice list gets challenged by the table. The two designs play into it — the nice card is a cream North Pole letter with a red wax seal; the naughty card is dark and gold-trimmed, and somehow always the more popular choice. Couples split one of each. Friends compare verdicts. And unlike a photo strip, the card props up on a shelf through December.

Which booth does the experience run on?
It's a software experience, so it pairs with whichever Surrey FaceBooth host booth suits your event venue and aesthetic. You pick the host booth at booking — the experience layers on top:
- Selfie Pod — compact open-style pod, the default pairing for most events
- Retro Pod — themed pod for parties that want a heritage look
- Vintage Photo Booth — traditional photo-booth shell with a classic feel
- Digital Photo Booth — modern digital booth for weddings, parties and corporate events
- Inflatable Photo Booth — inflatable enclosure that makes a feature of the booth itself
- Party Booth — high-throughput party-styled booth for big-guest-count events
- Selfie Ring — ring-light booth, good for glam-styled Christmas parties and brand activations
- Ring Roamer — roaming ring booth that comes to your guests instead of waiting for them
- Kids Selfie Pod — tilting-mount Selfie Pod for family-friendly events with younger guests
- Selfie Post Box — themed post-box booth that already looks the Christmas part
Tell us your venue and the look you're after at quote stage — we'll recommend the host booth that suits the brief.
How a Naughty or Nice session actually runs
- Quote and book — drop your event date, postcode and guest count into the instant quote, confirm with a deposit, and tell us your host booth choice and any add-ons (display cases, custom backdrop).
- On the day, before guests arrive — we turn up 30–60 minutes before your event start time, set up the host booth, load the experience, test the camera and printer, and have the queue area ready before doors open.
- Guests use the booth — pick naughty or nice on the touchscreen, type their name, pose, and pick up a printed North Pole certificate card seconds later. The team member at the booth helps with name entry and keeps the queue moving.
- Digital sharing — guests scan the QR code on the screen, or share by email / SMS / AirDrop straight from the booth.
- After the event — we pack down and send the host a branded online gallery of every card and photo from the night, ready to share with guests.
Where the experience works best
- Office and corporate Christmas parties — the naughty-or-nice verdict becomes the night's running joke, and every card carries the party home
- Family Christmas gatherings — kids take the choice very seriously; grandparents keep the cards on the mantelpiece
- Christmas markets, fairs and community events — a queue-friendly attended experience with a personalised take-home moment
- Festive brand activations — a keepsake with a built-in talking point that guests photograph and share
- Winter weddings and December birthdays — a seasonal twist on the photo booth keepsake, with the couple or host's verdict framed on the day
- School and club Christmas events — fast throughput, family-friendly, and every guest leaves holding their own certificate
Why guests remember it
The choice is the hook and the card is the proof. Guests pick their own verdict, watch the certificate print with their name and photo on it, and then spend the rest of the night defending their answer. The design reads like a real document from the North Pole — signature, seal, postmark, envelope back — so it gets propped on shelves and mantelpieces rather than pocketed and forgotten. It's the photo booth keepsake that starts a conversation every time someone spots it.
